New Look At Affordable Housing
The Mission of the Groton Housing Authority (GHA) is to create, preserve, revitalize, and pursue affordable housing and community development opportunities that serve a diverse mix of households. The core efforts of the Authority are focused on Groton, and through our affiliate, the Greater Groton Realty Corporation, we will entertain through partnerships or through consultative services, affordable housing activity outside of Groton.
The GHA will develop and operate programs in a manner that ensures people are housed to acceptable standards; at affordable costs; in a manner that requires increasingly less subsidy from public resources; in an environment that stimulates social inclusiveness and provides the basis for individuals to maintain their independence.

- Promote real estate development opportunities that foster access for our residents to jobs, shopping, medical care and entertainment.
